Reviews for No-Bake Peanut Butter Treats
"You will want to DOUBLE this recipe!! It is so great. I did change it a little-- used chocolate protein powder instead of powdered milk. Adding the addition of "chocolate-i-ness" made it taste like a true peanut butter cup! Instead of rolling into balls, the double recipe fits nicely into a 9x9 square pan. Great straight out of fridge or out of a lunch box. Yummy!"
"just made them; used granola instead of cracker crumbs (did not have)--- the dough was have eaten before I could roll them!!! very very good!"
"Made the recipe exactly as directed and my family loved them on our Canadian Thanksgiving table:)"
"I've made these before and rolled them in cocoa to dust them."
"we had something similar in my school, but they used corn flakes instead of oats or Rice Crispies. delish as I remember it."
"You can use almond extract instead of the vanilla and add some chopped almonds instead of the graham cracker crumbs. YUMMY!"
"If you want to change things up, add chopped miniature Reese's peanut butter cups--you get the best of both worlds! I would suggest rolling in chopped walnuts, too, if you want to skip the graham cracker crumbs."
"We made something simular to this when I was a girl in home ec. But instead of oats, we used rice krispies, and instead of milk, powdered sugar. I've been looking for a recipe for years. Can't wait to try this to see how simular it is to the flavors I remember in my mind! Thanks for sharing!"
"Everyone really liked this recipe and I agree about adding chocolate. Perhaps a little cocoa powder in the mix would be good. Next time!"
"I've made this recipe 2x so far...chocolate would make it even better, but that would sort of defeat the point. And really, they are delicious just as they are!"
