"I thought this was okay. It is certainly different. Got mixed response from the guests at the party too. Likely won't make it again."

"This is absolutely delicious!! I will be making this again and again. I did not have fresh mint so I substituted with fresh basil out of my garden. YUMMMM! Thank you!"

"This salad is definitely a keeper. Did not change one thing, and everyone at the family party loved it. A very subtle blending of flavors. As a volunteer Field Editor, I rate this one five starts,"

"I loved the simplicity and taste of this salad. My husband was not a fan of the balsamic vinegar taste with the watermelon. I guess will make this just fit myself when using up leftover watermelon or cucumbers."

"Interesting way to use summer fruits and vegetables. Didnt use the mint and did cut the recipe in half as there are only two of us."

"I used balsamic vinaigrette instead of the vinegar/oil/salt/pepper. Delicious! Will definitely make again! Coworker made it this way also, and her family loved it too!!"

"OMG this is quite a taste sensation! I read thru this recipe and tho't it a very strange combination, but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. It was amazingly good! DH declared it a keeper too. I did use white Balsamic, and maybe went a little light on the onions, but followed the recipe, and like everyone said, did not put the dressing on until right before we sat down to dinner. YUM! I'm sharing this one with my daughters."

"There will be no left overs. Kids have a bit of a 'problem' with the Balsamic Vinegar as it may be a new taste. Adults will 'lick the bowl.'"

"Very good flavor. I accidentally cut basil from the herb garden instead of mint, and added it, and it was very tasty."

"Great way to use watermelon. I followed the earlier suggestion to add the dressing just before serving. I also chilled the salad thoroughly beforehand, and kept it cold nestled in ice, as watermelon tastes so much better cold and makes a terrific contrast to hot BBQ'd foods. Definitely going in my recipe file."

"What a fresh and delicious summer salad this is. I made it to take to a friend's house and everyone loved it. I suggest putting the dressing on just before serving for the best taste. Don't store any over night because the watermelon doesn't do well that long with the vinegar. That won't stop me from making it again, though. I'm taking it to my sister's 4th of July party and know everyone will love it."

"Just made this last evening to take to a dinner at a friend's house. It was so fresh and delicious. Everyone loved it. One thing I would caution, is to put the dressing on just before serving and don't make more than will be needed because the watermelon doesn't do well overnight with the vinegar. This wouldn't stop me from making it again. It's just too good. I'm making it for my sister's 4th of July party and know everyone will love it."

"This was the perfect dish for a hot summer day. The mint with the watermelon and cucumber was so refreshing And the green onions added just a hint of zing. I loved it, my family loved it and we will definitely be making it quite often. It's going to be the perfect dish for a summer pot luck too."
