Reviews for Microwave Walnut Brittle
"I have never made brittle before, traditional or microwave, but this turned out perfectly for me. The brittle hardened just fine - a little quickly so you do have to work fast to spread it thin. It is very good and very easy. The girls at work asked for the recipe.I used the recipe out of the magazine from many years ago - and the magazine differs slightly. The first two times in the microwave are 4 minutes and the last time is 2. That might make the difference."
"Be careful with any brittle receipe that does not have you reach a tempature of 295-300 degrees. Mine did not harden either and I have an 1100 watt microwave Easy does not mean you.can ignore basic rules of cooking."
"It sounds like you didn't cook long enough. Microwave ovens vary. Try cooking 5 minutes before stirring and then 2-1/2 minutes longer."
"My brittle never hardened. Therefore, could not use. What did I do wrong. Not happy."
