Ingredients

2 cups butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 large egg yolks, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
5 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt

Directions

1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, egg yolks and vanilla. Combine flour and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.
2. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
