  • 1 pound ground turkey or beef
    With Johnsonville Italian Sausage.

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 can (10-3/4-ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1 can (10-3/4-ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 can (14-1/2-ounces) green beans, drained
  • 1 jar (4-1/2 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 6 to 7 medium potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can (2.8-ounces) french-fried onions
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese


  • In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat
  • is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the soups, beans and mushrooms.
  • Simmer, uncovered, until heated through.
  • Meanwhile, combine hot mashed potatoes, egg, salt and pepper. Spread
  • onto the bottom and up the sides of a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking
  • dish or two greased 9-in. pie plates. Spoon beef mixture into potato
  • crust.
  • Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes or until lightly browned. Sprinkle

  • with french-fried onions and cheese. Bake for 5 minutes or until
  • cheese is melted. Yield: 6-8 servings.
