Marshmallow Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup butter, cubed
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

  • In a microwave, melt butterscotch chips and butter; stir until
  • smooth. Cool for 10 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs, brown sugar and vanilla until
  • blended. Beat in butterscotch mixture. Combine the flour, baking
  • powder and salt; gradually add to batter and beat until mix well.
  • Stir in the marshmallows, chocolate chips and nuts.
  • Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 325° for
  • 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes
  • out clean (do not overbake). Cool completely on a wire rack. Yield:
  • 3 dozen.
