Meet the Cook: This wonderful candy recipe makes a big batch - enough to fill several Christmas gift boxes and still have treats left for my husband, Albert, and our grandchildren. One of our daughters-in-law shared the recipe a few years ago. -Katie Stutzman, Goshen, Indiana

"This is MY favorite holiday candy!!! If you don't like maple favoring you can always use another kind. I've used it with strawberry flavoring and they turned out just as yummy!"

"Wonderful, just like my Mother made for Christmas, except she used walnuts instead of peanuts."
