“A rich, maple cream filling topped with cinnamony apples and a crunchy streusel topping” is how field editor Sue Smith of Norwalk, Connecticut describes her heavenly holiday pie. “I’ve also layered the maple cream and streusel from this recipe in parfait glasses for a quick, elegant dessert.” —Sue A. "This is my favorite pie. I make it when ever I need to bring a dessert or when company comes and I have enough apples. I'm making 2 tonight again! Everyone Loves it and askes for the recipe . I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Thank you"

"The recipe sounded delicious, so I had high hopes. But the maple filling was overbearing and there was too much of it. My family did not like it so I won't be making it again."
