- 6 large sweet onions, sliced 1/2 inch thick
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- Layer onions in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Combine syrup and butter; pour over onions. Bake, uncovered, at 425° for 40-45 minutes or until tender. Yield: 8-10 servings.

How can anything so simple be sooooooo
good!! Thanks for a great idea! I placed it on top of sweet potatoes, and also on scrambled eggs. I'll bet it's great with ham steaks. Frankly, it's good right out of the pan!!!!
just simply delicious. I sprinkle a little natures seasoning on the top.
I made this ... very easy & received rave reviews. Everyone loved it - one person made it & modified it a bit. Said it was excellent also.
