- 6 large sweet onions, sliced 1/2 inch thick
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- Layer onions in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Combine syrup and butter; pour over onions. Bake, uncovered, at 425° for 40-45 minutes or until tender. Yield: 8-10 servings.
