Make-Ahead Eggnog Recipe

Sipping homemade eggnog is a holiday tradition for many families. Our slow cooker version of the classic drink couldn’t be easier to make. —Taste of Home Test Kitchen, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup egg substitute
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons rum extract
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • French vanilla whipped topping, optional


  • 1. In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine the first five ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours or until heated through. Serve in mugs; dollop with whipped topping if desired. Yield: 9 servings (3/4 cup each).
