  • 1/3 cup butter, cubed
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3-1/2 quarts popped popcorn
  • Whole almonds, golden raisins and sweetened shredded coconut, optional
  • Salt to taste

Nutritional Facts

1 cup: 105 calories, 9g fat (4g saturated fat), 12mg cholesterol, 110mg sodium, 5g carbohydrate (0 sugars, 1g fiber), 1g protein.


  1. In a small saucepan, melt butter with curry powder and sugar, stirring to blend. Drizzle over popcorn and toss.
  2. If desired, stir in almonds, raisins and coconut. Sprinkle with salt to taste. Store in airtight containers. Yield: about 3-1/2 quarts.

"Definitely an unique recipe. While I do like curry, I'm not a huge fan so I didn't put in the full amount. It was a nice twist on one of my favorite snacks."
