Margaret Haugh Heilman of Houston, Texas sent the recipe for this down-home dessert that's bursting with berry flavor. Fat-free yogurt and egg whites in the biscuit topping make the classic favorite a little lighter.
This fruit-filled summer dessert looks so pretty served in parfait glasses. Strawberries, blueberries and a cool custard sauce are layered between tender cubes of homemade shortcake. Our Test Kitchen came up with the berry delicious treat.
I love blueberries and have many recipes calling for them. One of my favorites is this quick dessert. I always freeze blueberries when they are in season so we can enjoy the summery flavor of this moist, tender cake all through the year.

My husband and I have blueberry bushes in our backyard, so I developed this dessert using a basic pound cake recipe from my great-aunt. I pick and freeze the berries in 3-cup portions so I can make this yummy cake all year long.

Since I usually have all the ingredients on hand, this cobbler is as easy as pie to assemble. Often, I'll change the canned filling to another fruit flavor. Try raspberry, peach, apricot or my personal favorite, strawberry.—Heidi Wilcox, Lapeer, Michigan
My husband and I enjoy these delicious crepes with sweet berry sauce and cream on Saturday mornings or even at supper time with sausage and eggs. They're considered a delicacy here, especially with a drizzle of maple syrup.
