"The first chilly day of fall always makes me want to make gingerbread for dessert, and this year is no exception. I love the cinnamon sugar topping on this and the flavor is out of this world. The molasses isn't too strong and since I love ginger, I doubled the amount called for. I also had some fresh ginger so I added about 1 tbsp minced fresh ginger; I told you I love ginger. It came out so well and my family loved it with vanilla ice cream. I had it for breakfast with a cup of coffee and I was a happy camper."

"This was my first time having anything gingery and it was spectacular! I made it around Christmas time and it filled the house with a holiday scent. My family couldnt wait to have a piece. I served it with whipped cream on the side. Be careful with the cinnamon sugar topping.. if you dont watch it it will burn around the sides of your cake. will for sure make over again."

"This was a moist dense gingerbread that needed no alteration, however I used minced fresh ginger and served it with lemon sauce. The entire family requested that it be added to the family favorites recipe. Will make it again and again."
