Hot Chocolate Mix Recipe

  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, grated
  • 1/2 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Dash salt
  • 3/4 cup hot milk


  • 1. In a bowl, combine all ingredients. To use, add 2 tablespoons mix to 3/4 cup hot milk. Yield: 1-1/2 cups dry mix.

"this turned out really nice, not very chocolatey, especially after all the chocolate I grated. It has a nutty taste to it but it was good. If you love your Hot cocoa very chocolatey I would grate milk chocolate instead of semi-sweet."
