Honeyed Cranberry Waldorf Salad Recipe

A touch of honey gives this simple salad a bit of sweetness while chopped apple and celery provide crunch. Best of all, it takes mere minutes to toss together for a quick lunch or side dish.—Barbara McFeters, Aurora, Oregon
TOTAL TIME: Prep: 15 min. + chilling YIELD:2 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 large apple, chopped
  • 2/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 celery rib, diced
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Directions

  • 1. In a small bowl, combine the apple, cranberries and celery. Combine mayonnaise and honey; pour over apple mixture and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until serving. Yield: 2 servings.
