Ingredients

  • 6 medium ears sweet corn
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Ground pepper, optional

Nutritional Facts

1 ear of corn equals 148 calories, 9 g fat (5 g saturated fat), 20 mg cholesterol, 67 mg sodium, 18 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 3 g protein.

Directions

  1. Place corn in a Dutch oven, cover with water. Bring to a boil; cover and cook for 5-10 minutes or until tender. Drain.
  2. In a small bowl, combine butter and honey; brush over corn. Sprinkle with pepper if desired. Yield: 6 servings.

I love the honey sweet flavor with the corn, YUM!

The honey butter didn't taste much different than regular butter. It might be better cooked on the grill with the honey butter already on it.
