Honey Nut Topping Recipe
Because we often entertain for weekend brunches, I'm always looking for different recipes. This sweet and nutty topping for waffles or pancakes adds an elegant touch.
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons chopped pecans
- 1. In a bowl, combine honey and sour cream until smooth. Add pecans; stir. Serve over waffles or pancakes. Yield: 2/3 cup.
1 serving (2 tablespoons) equals 96 calories, 4 g fat (2 g saturated fat), 8 mg cholesterol, 7 mg sodium, 15 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, 1 g protein.
