Honey-Lime Melon Salad Recipe
I usually have the ingredients for this melon salad on hand. It's a refreshing side dish for any meal, and it's a good and fast contribution to a potluck. Sliced bananas, strawberries and apples taste great in it, too.
TOTAL TIME: Prep/Total Time: 10 min. YIELD:6-8 servings
- 3 cups cubed honeydew
- 2 cups cubed watermelon
- 2 cups cubed cantaloupe
- 1/2 cup seedless red grapes
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon grated lime peel
- 1. In a large serving bowl, combine the fruits. Whisk together dressing ingredients. Drizzle over fruit; toss to coat. Serve immediately. Yield: 6-8 servings.
