 Honey French Dressing
The smooth thick dressing is a nice blend of tangy and sweet, with flavor reminiscent of a Western dressing. I got this recipe years ago when I worked as a cook in a high school cafeteria.—Joan Dones, Las Vegas, Nevada

  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil


  • In a blender or food processor, combine the first eight ingredients;
  • cover and process until blended. While processing, add oil in a
  • steady stream. Process until thickened. Store in the refrigerator.
  • Yield: 2 cups.
