Reviews for Homemade Italian Turkey Sausage
"If you have a vegetarian in your family, this can also be made with Gimme Lean sausage style and is really delicious. It should also be stored in the fridge overnight for the flavors to develop. We sometimes serve this with colorful pepper slices and a balsamic vinegar/sugar glaze over rice."
"Love this. It's so easy to make and more economical than buying premade turkey sausage. I make larger batches of it and freeze it in 1 lb. packages for future use."
"This recipe was really tasty but a little salty. (Next time I will cut the salt in 1/2!) I didn't have time to let it sit for the full 8 hours so I ground all the flavors together and mixed it with the meat before cooking it as ground sausage for "Lasagna Roll-Ups" (another T of H recipe) to make the meal as economical as possible. Thanks for sharing the recipe-my family gave it a BIG thumbs-up!"
