I really enjoy egg dishes, but I have to watch how many I eat. This recipe is easy to whip up anytime plus it tastes better than prepackages egg substitute products. I use this whenever a recipe calls for egg substitute.

Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 teaspoons nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 1 drop yellow food coloring

Nutritional Facts

1 each: 90 calories, 5g fat (0g saturated fat), 1mg cholesterol, 127mg sodium, 3g carbohydrate (0g sugars, 0g fiber), 9g protein Diabetic Exchanges:1-1/2 meat

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Use as a substitute for 1 egg. Yield: 1 serving.
