I love key lime pie, but some people are reluctant to take a whole slice of pie. These bars give just the right taste of key lime and freeze well, so I can keep a stash for when I need a tart treat. —Kristine Staton, Broomfield, Colorado
Pistachio pudding mix gives this moist cake a pretty tint of green. As it bakes, the outside browns nicely to form a slightly crunchy crust. The cake slices beautifully and would make a fun dessert for St. Patrick's Day.

From Coos Bay, Oregon, Shirley Brazel shares a recipe she's been relying on for more than 25 years. The cookies have a crisp edge, soft center and subtle lemon flavor. Choose colored sugar to tailor them to any occasion.
I make these cookie pops often during the year. In the spring, I cut them into flower shapes and insert the pops into a block of foam fitted into a basket or bowl. You can cover the foam with tissue paper or cellophane. Add a bow if you like. They make a great centerpiece or hostess gift. Not only do the cookies look pretty, they taste good, too. —Krissy Fossmeyer, Huntley, Illinois
This recipe was passed down by my mother. We serve it often, but especially at Christmas and Thanksgiving. Of course, the green color makes it nice for St. Patrick’s Day, too. With the marshmallows, pecans and whipped cream, the sweet salad can even be served as a light dessert.
I like to cook for both small groups and large crowds. When our entire family gets together for thanks and feasting, it’s a wonderful time!
To start your St. Patrick's Day feast off right, be sure to hand out lucky shamrocks—in the shape of those that top this sweet salad! Making them is merely a matter of cutting gelatin with a cookie cutter. Want to prepare the recipe for another celebration? No problem—just change the cookie cutters to suit the occasion. —Taste of Home Test Kitchen
