Hawaiian Ribs Recipe

My husband doesn't usually request pork for dinner, but these ribs are the exception. He enjoys the slightly sweet sauce.
TOTAL TIME: Prep: 10 min. Bake: 2 hours YIELD:6 servings

  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 to 3-1/2 pounds country-style pork ribs
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup water, divided
  • 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
  • 1 bottle (12 ounces) chili sauce
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard

  • 1. Place onion in a 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Rub ribs with garlic and sprinkle with salt and pepper; place over onion. Pour 1/4 cup water around ribs. Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
