- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 cups dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup 2% milk
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 3 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 4 pounds lean ground beef (90% lean)
- In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well.
- Divide into four portions; place in freezer containers. Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before using. Yield: 4 servings.
