"Here is a simple snack mix I created on the spur of the moment," writes Barbara Roberts of Middleton, Wisconsin. "It's easy to toss together for a Halloween party or to package in individual bags for a fall bake sale."

Ingredients

  • 6 cups caramel corn
  • 2 cups salted cashews or peanuts
  • 1-1/2 cups candy corn
  • 1/3 cup raisins

Directions

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container. Yield: about 2 quarts.

"This was very easy and very tasty. Caution-it can be addicting. Once you start eating it, you can't stop. I used M'M's instead of raisins. Looked great on the Halloween party table."
