Ground Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Ground Beef Stroganoff Recipe

MY mother-in-law gave me this recipe 25 years ago. It's been a staple in my meal planning ever since because it's easy and takes little time to prepare. I usually serve it with green beans or another vegetable and a salad. -Marjorie Kriegh, Nampa, Idaho

  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

"chili sauce isn't the same as hot sauce. It is used in shrimp Louie's. Comes in a bottle and is similar to ketchup."

"It was delicious up until we added the sour cream. (We omitted the chili sauce.) Had to add a can of mushroom soup to make it less thick and less sour cream tasting."

"RE: Need to add a little milk to make more of a sauce. I added more garlic. Replaced chili sauce for ketchup and chili powder to taste."
