Grandma's Apple Salad

I can still remember my grandmother preparing this succulent salad...it was her trademark. So I was thrilled when she passed this precious recipe on to me.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 5 tart apples, diced
  • 1-1/2 cups sliced celery
  • 1-1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup salted peanuts

Directions

  • In a bowl, stir mayonnaise, milk and sugar until smooth. Add apples,
  • celery and marshmallows. Just before serving, stir in peanuts.
  • Yield: 10-12 servings.
