I can still remember my grandmother preparing this succulent was her trademark. So I was thrilled when she passed this precious recipe on to me.

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 5 tart apples, diced
  • 1-1/2 cups sliced celery
  • 1-1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup salted peanuts

Nutritional Facts

1/2 cup: 274 calories, 21g fat (3g saturated fat), 8mg cholesterol, 173mg sodium, 19g carbohydrate (13g sugars, 3g fiber), 4g protein.


  1. In a bowl, stir mayonnaise, milk and sugar until smooth. Add apples, celery and marshmallows. Just before serving, stir in peanuts. Yield: 10-12 servings.
