 Ginger Sesame Chicken
Tender chicken and veggies are coated in a sweet and salty stir-fry sauce flavored with ginger and a hint of maple syrup. This is simple stir-frying at its best. Simple & Delicious Test Kitchen

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 4 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1-1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • Hot cooked rice


  • In a small bowl, combine the first seven ingredients until blended;
  • set aside.
  • In a large skillet or wok, stir-fry chicken in 1 tablespoon oil for
  • 4-6 minutes or until no longer pink. Remove and keep warm.
  • Stir-fry green pepper and onion in remaining oil for 2 minutes.
  • Stir cornstarch mixture and add to the pan. Bring to a boil; cook
  • and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Add chicken; heat through.
  • Serve with rice. Yield: 4 servings.
