 Garlic-Herb Mini Flatbreads
The dough for our Test Kitchen's homemade crackers is easy to work with. And with such wonderful flavor, these are worth the time it takes to prepare them.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup shredded Asiago cheese
  • 5 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
  • 2/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons water, divided
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 egg white
  • TOPPING:
  • 2 tablespoons shredded Asiago cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed

Directions

  • In a small bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Gradually add
  • 2/3 cup water and oil, tossing with a fork until dough forms a ball.
  • Divide dough in half; roll each portion into a 12-in. x 8-in.
