Fudge Sauce Recipe

With a little help from Teresa's mix and your stovetop, you can stir up this homemade sauce in no time. The warm topping is wonderful over ice cream.
TOTAL TIME: Prep/Total Time: 10 min. YIELD:8 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Brownie Mix
  • 2/3 cup water
  • Ice cream
  • Maraschino cherries, optional

Directions

  • 1. In a saucepan, bring the brownie mix and water to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Serve over ice cream. Garnish with cherries if desired. Yield: about 1 cup.

"Think this sauce is great! The mix I had on hand, had chocolate chips in it. I used 1/2 cup of water to 1 cup mix, and stirred over med low heat till everything melted together and thick. Refrigerate and just heat in microwave before using. Note: If you overheat it will get chunks that taste like pieces of brownie! Was quick and easy to make and tastes great. Would definitely recommend."
