Frozen Banana Pineapple Cups Recipe
- 3 cups water
- 2-2/3 cups mashed ripe bananas (5 to 6 medium)
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 can (6 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- 1. In a 2-qt. freezer container, combine all ingredients. Cover and freeze for 5 hours or overnight. Remove from the freezer 15 minutes before serving. Yield: 9-12 servings.
3/4 cup: 194 calories, 0 fat (0 saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 2mg sodium, 50g carbohydrate (45g sugars, 2g fiber), 1g protein.

However it's a good hot day snack so my next try I'll simply omit the sugar. It is not needed and the last thing my gung ho grandson needs."
