These bars are always a hit at potlucks here in the small rural farming community where my husband and I live. I also like to provide them for coffee hour after church. They're so moist and delicious that wherever I take them, they don't last long. —Karen Dryak, Niobrara, Nebraska

"In my view, "bars" are denser than cake. I should have realized that with three eggs, this recipe was going to be more cakey than bar-like. It tastes good, but it's not what I expected or wanted."

"I made these this weekend 4/2016, and they are delicious. I didn't change anything about the recipe and didn't need to. They would be good with walnuts in them or sprinkled on top of the icing."

"My son LOVED these banana bars and has been asking me to make them again! My husband thought there was too much frosting and scraped most of it off. Next time, I will make less frosting or double the recipe and make 2 pans!!"
