Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh mint
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • Sugar to taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon or lime slices and additional mint, optional

Nutritional Facts

1 serving (1 each) equals 10 calories, trace fat (trace saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 7 mg sodium, 2 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 1 g protein.

Directions

  1. Place mint in a large bowl; pour water over mint; let stand for 2 hours.
  2. Strain mint mixture; discard mint. Fill chilled glasses with ice; add mint mixture and sugar. Garnish with lemon or lime slices and mint if desired. Yield: 4 servings.
