Reviews for Fluffy Caramel Apple Dip
"This dip is so good. I have to admit it was so good I could have just ate it with a spoon! :)""
"Easy & Delicious!!!"
"This was really easy and good. My kids devoured it. I will say that it is extremely sweet, so you may want to taste it before adding the brown sugar--you may not feel it needs the extra sugar. Next time, I will experiment with either a little cinnamon and nutmeg, or a chopped heath bar on top. I will also offer those thin gingerman pepperidge farm cookies as dippers. I will say that we found Smuckers caramel topping to be a LOT better tasting, and thicker than Hershey's."
"I picked two bushel baskets of apples at my in-law's house. I had a party to go to and decided to try this recipe. It was easy, it was quick, and it was delicious. It was so good that when all the apples were gone people were dipping celery from another dip into this dip. I will make this again and again. Gluten free too!"
"I prefer a Gala apple or Honey Crisp to the Granny Smith. I sprinkle the top with toasted pecans and toffee bits. My friends couldn't keep away from this. Also I soaked the apples in Sprite instead of the lemon juice."
"We loved this dip with Granny Smith apples and will definitely make again. Next time, though, I will use pineapple juice instead of lemon juice. You could taste the lemon juice a little and it was too sour against the sweet dip. Pineapple juice will prevent the apples from turning brown and hopefully not compete with the dip."
"There were 3 of us and no one liked this much. Strangely too sweet and I LOVE sweet! Won't be making again."
"I made this to take to our bible study group on Sunday and got huge raves and have shared the recipe with two others already. Am planning to make it again for a function we are going to next weekend. So EZ and Yummy!"
"This dip is awesome. My grandkids, whole family for that matter, love this dip. We also dip banana slices, strawberries and grapes in this great dip."
"This dip is so good, perfect pair with apples. Very light texture, very sweet and rich. I have to admit it was so good I could have just ate it with a spoon! :)"
"I added 2 T. finely chopped and lightly toasted walnuts.."
"This is a huge hit with everyone, kids and adults alike. It is so sweet and creamy and can me used for dipping anything for apples to spread on graham crackers. I will make this again and again!"
"Haven't tried yet, but looks yummy!"
"to DAWSON1457 the apples are cut vertically , off the sides not through the middle."
"This was delicious and the entire group loved it! I only did a couple shaped apple slices (since you can only use a small part of the apple to do so). I filled the bowl with apple wedges and then put the shapes around the edges and at the top. This was a hit with both the kids and the adults!"
"Haven't made this recipe yet, but looks promising. Find it hard to believe that it is DIABETIC FRIENDLY.. It is full of sugars ( brown sugar, caramel ice cream topping, marshmallow creme, etc ).. Would not give to a diabetic"
"To Dawson1457; I think that she cut the slices parallel to the core, not across the core. It yields less slices but you are able to use small cookie cutters to make the designs in the slices."
"Just tried this recipe and it is very delicious with apples. It's a keeper for a dip for apples"
"How do you get a clean center cut out without the apple core in the middle????"
"Sounds really good. Answer to question from iwant I also make a fruit dip, that's just cream cheese and marshmellow cream and it lasts for more than a week if it hasn't had anything dipped in it. Thanks for a great recipe."
"I have an even easier recipe. Equal parts Phili cheese and packed brown sugar. Blend together and add 1 tsp. vanilla. Super fast and easy and everyone really enjoys!"
"I made this dip today and it was terrific. Wouldn't Chang a thing."
"Question... If this is Diabetic Friendly What is The Carb Count? I need that to be able to add it to my meal plan. thanks"
"I make a similar recipe with less ingredients. The cream cheese (softened) 1/2 c brown sugar, 1/4 c white sugar, 1 t vanilla. Mix well. Chill to let flavors deepen. Enjoy. And in answer to iwant: You can easily make this a day ahead (the flavor actually improves). Also, if you zap the cream cheese in the microwave to soften it will mix up quickly."
"I haven't made this yet. I run a seniors group and would like to make it for them. I was wondering how long this will keep in the fridge? I will have to make it for 60 so obviously will be making it ahead,"
"This is delicious! Apparently others think so, too. i have made it several times and have yet to bring any home when I take it somewhere."
"Try adding Heath Toffee Chips! WOWEEEE!"
"I made this for a jewelry party I was having around halloween. I used the cookie cutters for my apple slices and people were raving about how great they looked and how amazingly addicting the dip was. This recipe has been added to my favorites!"
"Loved this one, ended up having it at a party and it was one of the first things to go!"
