Came out perfectly! The only thing I did was plump up the raisins prior to adding to the mix. the whole family loved it! Guess I'll have to make more!
I made this for an Irish-themed dinner party and it was good! Very quick and easy. I've never had Irish Soda Bread, so I didn't know what to expect, but I was surprised that it is more of a sweet bread. I'm not a fan of raisins, but they were great in the bread.
This was the first time I ever made or tasted Irish Soda Bread, but it won't be the last! It was wonderful. Made it for a small dinner party and everyone really enjoyed it. Easy to make and delicious and it was just as good the next day. Thanks for a new favorite!
This was delicious and my husband loved it. I would make it again, but only if I have lots of people to eat it, for it was too much for two.
Tried this recipe for the first time on Saint Patrick's Day. Followed recipe exactly and it turned out great, everyone loved it. Made another one. Decided to lessen the sugar slightly and increase the b'milk slightly. Also put the raisins in hot water briefly before adding. Great recipe. Will make again and again.
