  • 1 package (16 ounces) frozen cut green beans, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons dried minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons real bacon bits
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Nutritional Facts

3/4 cup: 40 calories, 0 fat (0 saturated fat), 1mg cholesterol, 305mg sodium, 8g carbohydrate (3g sugars, 3g fiber), 2g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 2 vegetable.


  1. Place the beans, water and onion in a 1-qt. microwave-safe dish. Cover and microwave on high for 4-5 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Yield: 4 servings.
