Tender lettuce and ripe pears are fantastic with the tangy vinaigrette. You'll want to sneak a couple of the sugared pecans when you assemble the salad! —Taste of Home Cooking School

"Yum! Def. use the cinnamon crouton variation. I think next time I may even add a pinch of cinnamon to the pecans. Also added a handful of dried cranberries and some fresh parmesan cheese."

"I agree, awesome salad! I didn't add as much cream, probably only 1/4 cup but it needed it otherwise it would've been too tangy for my taste. When I served it, the platter was empty except for 2 leaves of lettuce by the time I got it.... obviously a hit!"

"AWESOME Salad!...skip the 1/2 and 1/2 in the dressing...healthier...and it doesn't need it."
