  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons seasoned salt

Nutritional Facts

6 each: 218 calories, 6g fat (1g saturated fat), 3mg cholesterol, 430mg sodium, 38g carbohydrate (3g sugars, 3g fiber), 4g protein.


  1. Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise; cut each half lengthwise into three wedges. Place in a single layer on a greased baking sheet. Spread mayonnaise over cut sides of potatoes; sprinkle with seasoned salt.
  2. Bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes or until tender. Yield: 4 servings.

"A good oven fry recipe, although it is a little more work than just tossing the wedges with oil. Cutting the potato halves in thirds is a good suggestion because if you try to cut them in more pieces than that they dry out in the oven over 50-60 minutes time."

"To spread the mayonnaise quickly, I put the mayonnaise in a bowl and stirred the potatoes in the bowl to cover them with mayonnaise. Prep time 2 minutes. Delicious!"
