My family loves the flavor of French toast in the morning. So for a little variety, we like to replace maple syrup with this slightly sweet topping. It takes just minutes to make.—Carole Bilobeau, Kitchener, Ontario
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- In a small bowl, combine butter and syrup. Serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers. Yield: about 1 cup.
