Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 package (16 ounces) frozen cut green beans, thawed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram

Nutritional Facts

3/4 cup equals 59 calories, 2 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 5 mg cholesterol, 524 mg sodium, 9 g carbohydrate, 3 g fiber, 2 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 2 vegetable, 1/2 fat.

Directions

  1. In a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray, cook onion in butter over medium heat for 2 minutes. Stir in green beans and seasonings. Cook and stir 6-8 minutes longer or until beans are tender. Yield: 4 servings.
