Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff Recipe
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 cups cooked egg noodles
- 1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
- 1. In a large skillet, cook the beef, mushrooms, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the soup and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until heated through. Reduce heat. Stir in the noodles and sour cream; cook until heated through. Yield: 3 servings.
1-1/2 cups: 554 calories, 28g fat (14g saturated fat), 141mg cholesterol, 797mg sodium, 44g carbohydrate (7g sugars, 3g fiber), 26g protein.

"For a quick and easy dinner this was really good. I was looking for something to make with what I had on hand and this hit the mark. To keep to what I had on hand I had to use elbow macaroni instead of the traditional egg noodles but no one seemed to mind. I did use a full pound of ground beef and whole 8 oz container of mushrooms with a little extra water with the soup and it was perfect."
