  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon-mayonnaise blend
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Dash cayenne pepper
  • 1 bunch romaine, torn
  • Salad croutons and additional grated Parmesan cheese, optional

  1. In a small bowl, whisk the first seven ingredients. Place romaine in a large bowl. Drizzle with dressing and toss to coat. Serve with salad croutons and additional cheese if desired. Yield: 8 servings.

"I did add a bit of Worcestershire sauce for some smokiness, but overall this is a really good, classic Caesar salad dressing recipe."

"very happy with the taste ease combo! since this is supposed to be easy, some tips for noobs: do not substitute "Dijon-mayonnaise blend" with pure dijon -- that would be too much dijon. i tried. also, a garlic clove is not an entire garlic bulb/head - it's just one of the pieces."

"i liked the recipe but here is what it was missing for me: Red Wine Vinegar and a dash or Worsteshire sauce as well as some fresh cracked black pepper. i omitted the milk and dressed the salad & tossed before serving, i thought that made it pretty darn delicious!"
