Ingredients

  • 1/2 tube refrigerated sugar cookie dough, softened
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

  • 3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and shortening; stir until smooth. Dip one end of each cookie into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off; sprinkle with walnuts. Place on waxed paper; let stand until set. Yield: about 3-1/2 dozen.
