Dilled Noodles Recipe
- 1-1/2 cups uncooked egg noodles
- 1/2 cup 4% cottage cheese
- 1 to 2 tablespoons snipped fresh dill or 1 to 2 teaspoons dill weed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Dash pepper
- 1. In a large saucepan, cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, combine the remaining ingredients. Drain noodles; add to cottage cheese mixture and toss gently. Yield: 2 servings.
3/4 cup: 169 calories, 4g fat (2g saturated fat), 40mg cholesterol, 501mg sodium, 23g carbohydrate (3g sugars, 1g fiber), 11g protein.

For the sauce, I doubled the amount of fresh dill and whipped it into some half and half, sour cream, and greek yogurt. Season with salt and pepper. If you are more adventurous, throw in some minced garlic and 1/4 tsp of minced jalapeno peppers."
