Dijon Vinaigrette

Unlike traditional vinaigrette dressings, this dijon vinaigrette recipe adds a flavorful twist. —Beth Philson, Lincoln, Nebraska

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup olive oil or canola oil
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar

Directions

  • 1. Combine all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid; shake well. Store in the refrigerator. Just before serving, shake dressing again.
