Dijon Vinaigrette Recipe
In this recipe, Dijon mustard adds a new twist to a traditional vinaigrette dressing. Olive oil gives it great flavor, but I have used vegetable oil in a pinch.
- 2/3 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1. Combine all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid; shake until blended. Store in the refrigerator. Yield: about 1 cup.
