- 1 package (12 ounces) dark chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- 1/3 cup sugar
- In a microwave, melt chocolate; stir until smooth. Gradually stir in cream until blended. Stir in extract. Cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally. Refrigerate until firm. Shape into 3/4-in. balls. Roll in sugar. Yield: 2-1/2 dozen.

"I have never made truffles before It was super easy for me to make them.. I never thought it to be that easy now i want to make this and dark chocolate mint truffles These candy's last a long time in the sealed container in the refrig. ( about 6 Months) I am a nut for making Peanut butter chocolate layer fudge and now truffles.. Its my weakness.. lol"
"The flavor was very good. But upon removing them from the fridge, they were so hard we couldn't roll them into balls. We let them sit at room temperature and they were still very hard to roll, but we did manage it. Next time I will roll into balls and then chill."
