Reviews for Dark Chocolate Orange Truffles
"Very good and very easy to put together"
"I have never made truffles before It was super easy for me to make them.. I never thought it to be that easy now i want to make this and dark chocolate mint truffles These candy's last a long time in the sealed container in the refrig. ( about 6 Months) I am a nut for making Peanut butter chocolate layer fudge and now truffles.. Its my weakness.. lol"
"The flavor was very good. But upon removing them from the fridge, they were so hard we couldn't roll them into balls. We let them sit at room temperature and they were still very hard to roll, but we did manage it. Next time I will roll into balls and then chill."
"they were really good! I didn't have any orange extract so I used a little orange juice, I can't taste it very much but I love the flavour of the dark chocolate so I don't mind. loved them!!! though my batch only made a dozen...."
"These are insanely delicious and RICH! They are absolutely delicious but one or two is plenty for one person as they are so rich in dark chocolate flavor. I would make them again but only for a large group of people."
"These are a chocolate lovers dream!! And they are so quick and easy. I gave them as Christmas gifts. Different flavors of extract can be used to give a variety."
"These were good and definitely easy to make. Mine were a little soft even after chilling so I just used a little less heavy whipping cream the next time I made them. I also used 1 T of flavored liqueurs instead of the extract for the subsequent batches. I used rum, Sambuca, and Cointreau. I rolled them in colored sugar that I use for sugar cookies. They were a big hit and fun to make and eat."
"took these to a block party/ big success and many request for the recipe! will try other flavors the nex time..easy to make"
"Super easy Truffles.. and they taste wonderful! Will make these again and again! Think I am going to try a different flavor next time.. just to have some variety."
"I just made these and they are so easy and so good. I love the smooth texture. I used the super fine sugar to coat them and it turned out great! I will definitely make these again and try using different flavorings in them."
"At first I didn't think that these would take shape. I left the mixture in the fridge a while longer and it was firm enough to roll into balls."
"These are very good. For some reason they didn't get hard they stayed very soft and gewy. We loved them though."
"I made these for Garbage Day (Potluck) at work, in addition to the Orange flavored. I also made Mint, Raspberry and Strawberry flavored. They were a big hit."
"I could not mix the ingredients enough to give the truffle enough to get a creamy texture."
"My daughter loves these. She had me make them for her birthday treat. They melt in your mouth!"
