Reviews for Cucumbers with Dressing
"Very good salad, I added shredded carrots to it. Made extra good"
"Kids and I inhaled this! Awesome."
"This was a good, light dish and quick to prepare. I think I would use a little less sugar next time, but we really enjoyed it."
"Quick and easy to prepare - nice fresh taste! Only disappointment is how runny the sauce gets (likely due to the high water content of the cukes). Still, will definitely prepare again!!"
"Yet another WINNER from TasteofHome. I also add a bit of dill weed. with mayo. mixture. This dish makes a mighty fine salad! K."
"I made this last night with the cucumbers from my garden. My husband loved it. thanks, Danette"
"I am not a mayonnaise person, so in place of the mayonnaise, I'll use either nonfat plain yogurt or light sour cream or Ranch dressing. I used 2 Tbsp. sugar, 2 Tbsp. CIDER vinegar, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1 tsp. salt, 1 thinly sliced yellow or white onion and 4 cups thinly sliced unpeeled cucumbers. This adaptation made a verytasty cucumber salad! Thank you for this recipe! DELowenstein"
"Recipes don't get much easier than this! I used light mayonnaise and rice vinegar and it didn't seem to affect the taste. I also added pepper as some other reviewers did. I think that next time I may substitute Splenda to see how that affects the taste. I took this to a party without having tried it first and guests pretty much cleaned it up. It was tasty and refreshing and fairly healthy when the recipe is modified. This one's a keeper!!"
