I serve this refreshing and simple salad year-round because it perks up everyday meals. I think what makes it so special is the addition of dill.

"I made this today and it was very good and very refreshing.

I seasoned and mixed the sliced cucumbers first with the sugar, salt and Dill weed (I used Dried Dill weed ) as this allowed the seasonings to totally coat the cucumbers . I added the sour cream (I used Reduced Fat Daisy Brand Sour Cream) and vinegar last then mixed it again gently .
I like to slice the cucumbers very thin as thay pick up more flavor .
If desired thin slices of Vidalia Onion are also a nice addition.

"This is a great cucumber salad. I add a thinly sliced vidalia onion and often double it when I have an abundance of home grown lasts for day in the fridge..try it you might enjoy it as much as we do."
